DEATH IN ABSENTIA

CONTENT WARNINGS: this story talks a lot about death and suicide. it is very essential to what it is about so i would recommend skipping this read if it could trigger you! other warnings: mentions of transphobia, ableism, typical horror imagery (mild gore, body horror, etc);

SUMMARY:

a prospective webcomic about Amaranth Perez, 27 year old graduate student, resurrected/possessed after a fatal car crash by nymph from hell, Mira; their relationship to eachother, to others and to their memories.

the story would revolve around Amaranth who, after getting fired from her job as a TA because of Mira, crams all her possessions in her wrecked car and decides to go on a cross-country roadtrip to hunt the ghosts and demons and otherwordly entities Mira opened the door for by successfully exiting the underworld.
along the way they'd meet Dave and C.J. (do not separate them) runaway teenagers in the same situation as Amaranth and Mira - Dave died, C.J. brought him back and came with.

i have unfortunately no script or concrete storyline for it (i would like to at some point!) but it's about death, otherness, identity, family, second chances, and a scary guy who wants to kill you. more information about each character in their respective pages :]
